| The main focus of the workshop are several
techniques taught by in Traditional Usui Reiki Ryoho. Each will be
be demonstrated with an opportunity for the participants to practice many
of them.
The techniques are listed here, as well
as what we know so far that composes the original Usui Reiki Ryoho
training. Almost all of this was shared at the Doi Sensei workshop in Vancouver,
August 1999, and is presented in the URR Workshop Manual except
for the Empowerments and notes in blue text like this.

Gendai Reiki-ho
Doi Sensei says he is aware that an attunement
ceremony is not really required to pass on Reiki. He also knows symbols
and mantras are not an essential part of Reiki. They are just tools to
help people develop the Reiki channel. As you go higher in the Reiki growth
path, you will eventually let go of all these. Only your intention is required
to do any Reiki work.
Included with the workshop
material were several techniques and meditations that Doi Sensei uses in
his own school, Gendai Reiki-ho (Modern
Reiki Method).
